Welcome Growers and Crafters to the Scappoose Community Farmer's Market.
NEWS UPDATE
Under most occasions, like other surrounding farmers' markets, our vendors are committed to being at the market each Saturday to serve our customers, whether there be occasional blowing winds, sporadic rain, or even possible hot days. Given that, for every vendor taking the day off, another will join us for your enjoyment.
This Saturday, July 6th, local weather forecasters predict it will be hotter than normal. To protect our customers and vendors from exposure to extreme heat illness, we will close early, if and when, the temperature hits 90 degrees. Don't miss your favorite vendors. Arrive before noon.
So, come early, stay hydrated, bring Fido and paw protectors while it is still cool, and enjoy the farmers market – plus, we will provide live music early thru mid-day.
We care about you and our vendors, so remember if it gets to up 90 degrees we will call it a day. And, remember the Scappoose Public Library is a designated cooling center, or you can cool off in the Michael Curry Children's Fountain in the Park next to the market.
From all of us at the Farmers' Market.
The Scappoose Farmers' Market opened May 4th, and will extend it's season this year to September 28th, for a full season. As presently configured, the market will provide space for hot food onsite, and we will consider live events during the season.
In addition our market participated with the City of Scappoose in a special city summer festival event. We also reserve the right to adjust according to any plan of action taken by our health authorities and others. We appreciate your participation and flexibility as we provide for you a new year of vendor offerings.
